A - 93-100
B - 85-92
C - 75-84
D - 70-74
F - 69 and Below
To ensure the opportunity for student success in light of a failing grade, a student in grades 2-12 shall not receive a failing grade lower than 60 on a report card for all but the final marking period of the school year. If the actual class grade is lower than the reported grade of (60%), a comment indicating such shall appear on the report card. Additionally, the teacher issuing the minimum failing grade shall request a meeting with the student’s parents.
